Microsoft has said that feature the use of monitoring a child's computer (parental control) on Windows 8 will be available in trial version Preview of the operating system is scheduled for release next month.

According to Slashgear, this new feature called Family Safety will allow parents to monitor children's activities on the computer, including web sites they have visited, the latest findings that we have made as well as existing applications and games that they normally use.

To use this feature, parents simply create a new account for your kids, without having to download, install or configure any software. Then, each week, parents will receive more detailed information on all activities of the child on the computer.

Besides monitoring capability, the parents can easily adjust the settings in the Family Safety features by remote access via the homepage familysafety.microsoft.com.

In addition, parents can also set up filters at multiple levels of Web site, filtered games on the App Store Windows Store online, time limit on computer use and even "freeze" some applications or specific games.
